Kungsleden in Sweden: beyond the polar circle

The Kungsleden trail which starts from the Hemav and ski resort to reach Abisko is one of the best hiking trails in the world. It is an adventure of nearly 450 kilometers that takes you well beyond the polar circle (160 km to the north) and takes you through one of the wildest natural regions on the continent. Of course, he is not obliged to follow the trail from the start. The recommended travel distance is around 100 km. There are huts and refuges every 10-20 km to make a fire and spend the night.

Cordillera Apolobamba: the other trail of the Incas
